Fitness Travel Kit: My Must-Haves On the Go

Traveling doesn’t have to derail your fitness routine. Whether I’m heading out for a work trip or going on vacation, I bring along my tried-and-true fitness travel kit, a carefully curated set of must-haves that keep me on track, healthy, and energized wherever I am. Here are my must-haves on the go that I never leave home without.


Resistance Bands

Lightweight and perfect to get a quick workout in no matter where you are!


Supplements

  • Collagen Peptides: I've been taking collagen for at least 10 years, and it's one of those supplements I truly believe in because I can see and feel the benefits. I like to get the stick packets for traveling to make it easy to throw into a bag.

  • Electrolytes: I never drink enough water while traveling, so this is a must-have. I get these stick packets for traveling to make it easy.

  • Protein Powder: Sometimes it can be hard to get enough protein while traveling. That is why I always pack protein powder. If you can't find the travel packs, these are great reusable packs you can use.

  • Creatine: This is another supplement I can't live without. Another easy one to buy in travel packets or use the Mumi Travel Containers I linked above.

  • Vitamins/Other Supplements: Traveling can make it hard to get in your daily needed vitamins, so I always pack these so I never miss a dose. If these don't come in packets, I use a pill container.


Protein Bars

The right protein bar can make all the difference when you are hungry or even craving something sweet, but don't want to overdo it. My favorites are clean bars like IQ, Paleovalley, and Truvani.


Stevia Liquid Sweetener

This is a nice-to-have to sweeten up your trip. I bring this along to add to coffees or sparkling waters if I need a sweet treat without the added calories.


Overnight Protein Oats

These have been super helpful while traveling. They are easy to whip up in a pinch, and you can eat them cold or warm.



Packing my fitness travel kit means I never have to choose between enjoying my trip and staying on track with my health goals. These essentials fit easily into a carry-on, work in almost any hotel or Airbnb, and help me keep my workouts, hydration, and recovery on point. Next time you’re packing for a work trip or vacation, add a few of these must-haves to your bag, and you’ll be ready to stay active, feel your best, and make your health a priority wherever you go.
